Steel ingots produced according to European standards
The grades of each standard are also different from each other, the European standard is the one we offer for sale:
Steel ingots are according to the grades S235JR (ST 37), S275JR (ST 44) and S355JR (ST 52), and this sample of steel ingot is produced with the same composition of manganese, phosphorus and sulfur and variable amounts of carbon and silicon. Two samples of steel ingots S235JR (ST 37) and S275JR (ST 44) are free of silicon, and the S355JR (ST 52) sample has the highest amount of manganese among the other samples.
The same compounds of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur with different percentages of purity are found in steel ingots produced according to the Russian standard GOST 380-2008. The grades of Russian standard steel ingots include ST 3SP, ST 4SP and ST 5SP, and the constituent minerals such as silicon, sulfur and phosphorus are similar in them. While the amount of carbon and manganese consumed is different. We also have this type of steel ingot for sale.
